At Custom Vastra, customization is at the heart of what we do. We give you the freedom to express yourself by creating apparel that truly represents you.
This policy explains how customization works, what we support, and how we ensure a smooth and transparent experience.

🧵 Types of Customization at Custom Vastra

We currently offer three ways to customize your products:

1️⃣ Template-Based Customization (Via WhatsApp)

This option is ideal if you want quick, professional designs.

How it works:

  1. Select a template from our website
  2. Click on “Customize on WhatsApp”
  3. Share required details (text, names, dates, photos, size, colour, quantity)
  4. We create a mockup based on your inputs
  5. Mockup is shared with you for approval
  6. After approval, payment is completed
  7. Product goes into printing and shipping

Important Notes:

  • Printing starts only after final mockup approval
  • Changes after approval are not possible
  • Please review spelling, dates, image clarity, and layout carefully

2️⃣ Customize Yourself (Using Design Tool)

This option gives you full creative control.

How it works:

  • You can add your own:
    • Text
    • Images
    • Logos
    • Design elements
  • You can preview your design before placing the order

Customer Responsibility:

  • Ensure correct spelling, alignment, and image quality
  • Designs placed through this tool are printed exactly as submitted

Once the order is placed, it moves directly into production.

3️⃣ Custom Design via WhatsApp (Customer-Provided Designs)

If you already have a design or inspiration:

  • You can contact us on WhatsApp
  • Share your design files or reference ideas
  • We prepare the final print-ready version
  • Mockup is shared for approval
  • Printing starts after full payment and approval

This option provides maximum customization flexibility.

✔ Mockup Approval Policy

  • Mockup approval is mandatory for WhatsApp-based customization
  • Once approved:
    • Design is locked
    • Printing begins
    • No further changes or cancellations are possible

Please double-check:

  • Text spelling
  • Dates & names
  • Image quality
  • Placement & sizing

🔄 Exchange & Customization Limitations

Since customized products are made specifically for you:

  • Exchanges are supported only in genuine cases:
    • Damaged or defective product
    • Wrong size received (different from ordered)
    • Wrong design delivered (not matching approved mockup)
  • Exchanges must be requested within 48 hours of delivery
  • A clear unboxing video and images are required

🚫 What Is Not Covered Under Customization Support

To maintain fairness, we cannot offer exchanges or refunds for:

  • Customer-approved design errors
  • Incorrect size selected by the customer
  • Low-resolution images provided by the customer
  • Colour variation due to screen or printing differences
  • Design preference changes after approval

© Intellectual Property & Design Rights

  • All templates, layouts, and designs created by Custom Vastra are our intellectual property
  • Customer-provided designs remain the customer’s responsibility
  • Customers must ensure their designs do not violate:
    • Copyright
    • Trademark
    • Intellectual property laws

Custom Vastra is not liable for legal issues arising from customer-submitted content.

💳 Payment & Customization

  • Template-based & WhatsApp custom designs:
    • 100% prepaid (10% OFF – preferred)
    • 50% prepaid + COD (₹50 COD charges applicable)
  • Design tool customization:
    • Payment completed at checkout

Printing starts only after payment and approval are completed.

📦 Production & Delivery

  • Printing begins after final approval
  • Processing time: 1–2 working days
  • Delivery timeline: 5–7 working days
